Edinburgh Western MSP Alex Cole-Hamilton has launched his 2018 Christmas Card Competition. Open to all school children aged 6-12 from the Edinburgh Western Constituency, pupils have until 5pm on Monday 3rd December to submit their entries via their school along the theme of “A Scottish Christmas Story”.
Alex said: “This is the 2nd year of my Christmas Card Competition. It was such a delight to see all the effort which went into last years’ designs, and I can’t wait to see what the pupils will come up with this year to capture the Christmas spirit.
“The winning design will be turned into a card and enjoyed by hundreds of people who will receive it across West Edinburgh this Christmas.”
Primary and secondary schools in the constituency will receive full details of the competition this week, including the prize for the winner – a tour of Parliament for them and their family.
