Kirkliston Railway Station

Kirkliston has doubled in size in recent years, but public transport has not improved in response to that. Huge pressure is being put on arterial routes because of car journeys into town and, indeed, on Dalmeny train station in South Queensferry which are already overcrowded.

I/We the undersigned, as residents of the growing community in Kirkliston have been under-served by public transport links for too long, and call upon the Scottish Government, Network Rail and Transport Scotland to work together to introduce a new railway station at Kirkliston with routes into Edinburgh.
