I left the Young Carers Festival totally inspired and just a little exhausted by the bouncy castle! We need to do so much more to first identify and then get support to Scotland's young carers. 


Muirhouse Community Shed

Recently I had such an inspiring morning at Muirhouse Community Shed, learning about their work teaching nearly 200 members of the community, woodwork skills, climate literacy whilst tackling poor mental health and social isolation. They even let me have a go! 


March for Europe

Amazing energy from the thousands I had the privilege of speaking to at the #MarchforEurope in Edinburgh in September. We've been marching for 3 years and will not give up.


Champion for Bronchiectasis

It's a great honour and privilege to have been nominated to be the British Lung Foundation 'Champion for Bronchiectasis'. I will be working to do all I can to raise awareness of the illness, how it's diagnosed and treated. 


A&E weekly performance hits worst rate since March 2018

Performance against the A&E waiting time target has fallen to its lowest level since March 2018, with only 85.4% of patients treated within 4 hours compared to the 95% target.
